James Belshaw and Sophia Severin (both from the UK) set the record for the longest kiss by locking lips continuously for a whopping 31 hours 30 minutes 30 seconds, in an event organised by PMW Communications, at the Plaza Shopping Centre, London, UK, on 6-7 July 2005. That’s one breathless feat!

On 18 November 2007, McDonalds Restaurants at Taipei Arena, in Taipei, Taiwan, entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the venue where the most couples hugged simultaneously – 1,451 to be exact, at a World Children’s Day charity event organized by the food chain giant.
